Seriously, it took me a while for my last few remaining brain cells to figure out the category/board thing on here. [yeah, i know.] Anyway, this has been a busy week for rescues and a tragic week for the owners and barn owner of 15 horses who died in a fire in Tacoma. I've stated posting some of the news stories and will continue to add info, but I want to get this board launched so I'm going to let it go as is and hope that rescues, volunteers and interested parties will add info as we go. Feel free to promote your rescue, event, fund raiser or service as long as it relates to horse rescue. If you are a farrier, vet or massage therapist that offers discounts to rescues, PLEASE toot your own horn. This (under the Resources category) is the right place to do it. Again, the goal is for us all work together for the good of the horses we are trying to help. There is no preferred rescue organization here. As long as there are no flame wars or big drama, there will be no rules. I think I have the settings set for me to approve all new board members, but I can't seem to find that setting to double check [go me!]. If someone is causing trouble or a new membership has not been approved, please PM me. I will address the issue right away. Thank you and have a great day! ;D

It is pretty difficult to set these kinda things up if you're not used to the whole idea of working with it all. I've debated setting one up for my website too.
